A gripping action adventure set in the 16th century and based on authentic historical material. Rutger Hauer leads a band of wretched mercenaries against the nobleman who betrayed them. They kidnap Agnes, the virgin bride-to-be of the noble's son, who becomes Hauer's mistress in order to survive.

Ratings and reviews

There is no way this movie would be made in 2021. Definitely the most bizarre Verhoeven film I've seen. Beats me how it doesn't have a R rating as there is full frontal nudity all over the place.

Great characters, gritty, sexy, but where's the HD option Google???

J.J leigh being raped is a delight to behold and the hot tub scene is a gem
