About this movie

Academy Award winner Denzel Washington stars in this "riveting and powerful nail-biting thriller*" from Robert Zemeckis, the Academy Award-winning director of Forrest Gump and Cast Away. Airline pilot Whip Whitaker (Washington) miraculously lands his plane after a mid-air catastrophe but questions arise as to who or what was really at fault.

Flight has a lot going for it but peaks too early.- a very racy opening sequence then a thrilling section in a cockpit. Then there is some meandering from then on. The soundtrack is very off putting throughout, too. Denzel Washing is his normal cool self and he doesn't allow the total loss of cool needed to portray an alcoholic. Kelly Reilly is better bit again the rock bottom appears some way off. Also, it took a while to appreciate she wasn't the woman introduced in the opening scene.

Would by this if it came with bonus features found on disc. I love things like docs and audio files. Until then I'll buy the blu-ray versions.
