When second-graders Bryce and Juli first meet, Juli knows it's love. Bryce isn't so sure. Beginning that day, and for the next six years, young Bryce (Callan McAuliffe) does everything he can to keep his outspoken wannabe girlfriend at arm's length...which isn't easy since they go to the same school and live across the street from each other. Smart, dreamy, independent and willing to stand up for what she believes in, Juli (Madeline Carroll) is different from anyone else he knows and, frankly, it's a little overwhelming. Though disappointed by Bryce's unwillingness to see things her way, or even to see the things in life she finds most meaningful, Juli continues to give her potential dreamboat the benefit of the doubt. Until those doubts stack up so high that she finally thinks maybe she was wrong about him. It's just about the same time Bryce starts to think maybe he was wrong about her, too. But is he too late? I was not aware children this young went through these emotions and it is beautiful. This movie touched me, because I always had to suppress my emotions and thinking, and this movie says it is OK and needed. The actors played their role phenomenally well and the story was beautifully written and portrayed. Keep this one near the top of your collection for a revisit once in a while.

I simply love this movie and have re-watched it many times. It is a sweet, funny, feel-good story, with the nostalgic setting of the late 50s/early 60s making it that much better. The cast is very likeable and incredibly talented. Flipped has become one of my favourite movies that I would definitely recommend to everyone, and believe any age group would enjoy. Two very big thumbs up :)

I REALLY LOVE THIS MOVIE!!One day I was just checking out movies in the TV, when I saw this.I found this movie really funny,dramatic and family friendly.So I wanna download it right now! I really LOVE this movie, this is one of my all time favorites. I REALLY LIKED IT! It is one of the most Beautiful films I've ever saw in my Life! ; )
