A beautiful tragic-comedy with a brilliant cast and great work from the director. Almost a perfect rendition of a soul in turmoil due to a deteriorating central nervous system caused by disease and medication. I have read the Wikipedia page about Florence after watching, only to get confirmation of what the movie had already depicted brilliantly. One cannot find faults in the way this was brought to life :)

I couldn't stop laughing at this amazing piece of creative cinema. You felt as though you had stepped back in time. Florence was surely unique, as a passionate singer who couldn't sing. The acting from all the main characters was brilliant. Watch this movie it will brighten up your day.

I didn't know Hugh Grant was such a wonderful actor until now. What a delicious performance from Simon Helberg too! Thoroughly satisfying, sensitive and beautifully nuanced movie.
