I watched the first one and this is WAY BETTER then the first one!!! In all honesty the first one was boring. I was scared to watch this one because some ppl aid the first was better and because I seen the first one I thought that this was going to suck. My friend made me watch it and I live her for it because this is now one if my favorite movies. The dances are so cool n I really want to know the barn dance (almost got it), it's way funnier, the acting is so much better. Bravo. So much better than the 1st

The Original Footloose With Kevin Bacon was Best and it has the Best SoundTrack by KennyLoggins but this Remake Sucked And Wasn't As Good As The Original This Is Why Hollywood Has no more ideas and can't come up with new one's and Have to Runen Classic Films

The only people who can possibly like this one are the ones who didn't have the true 80s-movie experience of the first. This movie was totally awful and extremely forgettable. Nothing compared to the original. I also think they overly-intended the female lead to be Miley Cyrus or something. Barf.
