Each time I see this film I'm again surprised at how unexpectedly original it is. A romantic comedy at heart, the film unfolds as the heartbreak of being dumped drives a man to choosing to find new happiness rather than wallow in sadness. The turn of seeing his ex with a new man becoming the motivating factor of a hilarious rivalry between 2 newly formed couples breathes life into a genre that has been stagnating for years.

Lots of quality laughs, light hearted - but yet not cheesy. well balanced. Great comedy that doesn't utilize over the top humor and shouldn't alienate anyone. Big accomplishment to keep it awesome without needing crazy drunkenness and lewd behaviour to get those ha has by taking things to the edge. A classic in my book.

This is another one of those movies that never get old. Great actors, and I especially love comedies that are packed with what I call "gems" subtle details that are just below the surface.
