À propos de ce film

During a time of globally heightened debate, Journalist Phelim McAleer travels across the U.S. and Europe to speak with scientists and Americans living in fracking areas, in order to uncover the science behind the process and to determine its true consequences. Hydraulic fracturing, or "fracking," refers to the process of drilling down into rock and using pressurized fluids to extract energy sources such as natural gas and petroleum. Supporters of fracking state the economic benefit to the U.S. is great and that the process has rigorous standards by which it operates. Opponents of fracking voice concerns about contamination to ground water and land surface, as well as other environmental issues. Join McAleer on the search for the fracking truth.

This documentary is amazing. Completely changed my mind about fracking, which I used to be against. He simply took quotes and story's from the anti fracking community and simply refutes' each and every claim in a clear concise manner. This was real journalism funded by the people. Thanks

This film highlights one area of the great issue that is public virtue signaling, which does have grave effects on real families like the farmers in the film. It expresses how necessary and good fracking is for the very reason opponents revile it. The frantic measures employed by the foes of truth when confronted with their error personifies their ethos of shameless self-promotion. I'm very glad Phelim and others took the time to provide such an eye-opening and informative documentary, as well as its cinematographic beauty. Any claims that this documentary is not top-notch is, in my opinion, another irrational, debased claim not to be taken of any significance.

Great movie! Exposes environmental nut jobs scare tactics. Gasland is was and always will be nothing more than toilet paper on my tv, sequel too. Josh fox opens his mouth and nothing but a brown stream with corn chunks comes out.
