Frances has a best friend named Sophie, but they aren't really speaking anymore. Frances throws herself headlong into her dreams, even as their possible reality dwindles. Frances wants so much more than she has but lives her life with unaccountable joy and lightness. FRANCES HA is a modern comic fable that explores New York, friendship, class, ambition, failure, and redemption.

but it felt like I was 27 again and full of stupid ideas. Great movie. Beautifully shot. Wonderfully acted. Funny in many places and very very authentic. It was frustrating in the right places as well.

Absolutely LOVE Greta Gerwig! This movie feels most authentically like what she would be like in reality... And thats both quirky and cosmically late on purpose.

Its the story of life, friendship, and the people we pass by as 20 something year olds.
