Baron Frankenstein (Peter Cushing, "Star Wars") is once again up to his experiments on the border between life and death, but his actions this time show that he is the true monster. Attempting to preserve the medical knowledge of a brilliant but insane surgeon, Frankenstein performs a brain transplant, an operation that leads to disaster and, ultimately, his own doom.

Flawless. Cast, story and setting is perfect. I believe this was the last Hammer movie filmed at Bray Studios? Peter Cushing was never more evil and sadistic in the role of Dr. Frankenstein as he is in 'Must Be Destroyed' which also stars the beautious blonde Veronica Carlson. The horror of Dr. Frankenstein's actions and motives drive this series, which focuses properly on the mad Dr. and less on his monster/creation. Self respecting Horror fans, this is your intro to Hammer Horror. Enjoy👍
