Gord's (Tom Green) desire to please his father comes from his special - well, ok, bizarre - innocence. He also has an endearing sense of curiosity about everything, whether it's getting way too friendly with a horse on a stud farm, dancing inside a deer carcass, or wreaking havoc in a hospital delivery room. Gord's just an overgrown boy with a wild sense of imagination. But when the 28-year-old Gord decides he wants to be an animator, quits his job at a cheese factory and returns home to live in his parents' basement, his father is neither amused nor proud. Dad thinks Gord is a slacker and should grow up, give up his dream of "doodling" for a living, get a real job and get the hell out of the house. But Gord won't budge, and father and son embark on an all-out war that ends up taking them halfway around the world.

5 stars. This movie got written off but its a masterpiece. It has excellent replay value but one of the best things about it is watching it with someone who has no idea what it's about. Anyway, its an absurd satire and if you can track down the DVD with commentary Tom Green gives countless insights into so many of the jokes and in jokes. He also almost nearly chokes to death during it. Whenever I'm down I think about lines from this film and it always cheers me up. YOU GOT THE JOB BUDDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The header says it all. Give it a try, you will love or hate it.

This won't be for everyone but I've got a warped sense of humour and loved it. 4.5 stars!
