Characters are bland and mostly unlikeable. Story is confused with no clear moral center. Like a clever joke at a brainstorming session inexplicably got turned into a 2 hour movie. Animation is competent and sometimes very creative. Nothing for adults and the kids should probably stay away too. I was uncomfortable several times with them watching it.... Not approaching the debacle that was the Nut Job, but skip it anyway.

The producers were trying desperately to make this funny. The old slapstick comedy, big names in comedy, childish antics, etc. A total animation flop and waste of time even for kids. As bad as that crappy snail movie. Those who gave this 4 stars are simpletons and I bet I could describe their house and values based on their taste.

This is from Julian, 8 1/2 years old: This movie is really funny. The turkeys talk really stupidly. The humans were mean to the turkeys and kind of mean to each other. It was really silly. The modern turkeys are very dumb. Only the only the ones from the past were smart because they protect their home. I think I won't eat turkey any more!
