Über diesen Film

Set in a colorful yet gritty 1970s Boston, Free Fire opens with Justine (Oscar® winner Brie Larson), a mysterious American businesswoman, and her wise-cracking associate Ord (Armie Hammer) arranging a black-market weapons deal in a deserted warehouse between IRA arms buyer Chris (Cillian Murphy) and shifty South African gun runner Vernon (Sharlto Copley). What starts as a polite if uneasy exchange soon goes south when tensions escalate and shots are fired, quickly leading to a full-on Battle Royale where it’s every man (and woman) for themselves.

Mind-numbingly boring. The rival characters end up lying behind cover, yelling to their enemies to ask if they're still alive. They act like they're a bunch of bored and miserable office workers who've been forced to play paintball in the rain as part of a team building exercise, instead of like criminals in a deadly gun battle. I saw this in the theater and several people actually WALKED OUT because it was so boring. I stayed to the end in the hope that the movie might have a cool ending. It didn't. Don't waste your time or money on this.

A simple concept but very fulfilling. Overall just a crazy bunch of moments put together to create ultimate chaos. Brilliant shoot out that leaves you rooting for your favorite character to make it.
