Ryan Reynolds stars in this action-packed comedy as a mild-mannered bank teller named Guy, who learns he's really a background character in an open-world video game. Every day, Guy is under assault by players and objects within the game, where he's robbed, hit by cars, and otherwise mistreated as a "non-playing character" (NPC). To make matters worse, the game's owner has decided to end the game. Teaming with a woman (Jodie Comer) who's both a human and a character in the game, Guy decides to become the hero of his own story. Now, in a world where there are no limits, he is determined to be the guy who saves his world his way before it's too late. Directed by Shawn Levy, and written by Matt Lieberman and Zak Penn based on Lieberman's story, the fast-paced, hilarious FREE GUY also stars Taika Waititi, Lil Rel Howery and Joe Keery.

Very fun movie. You can tell they had a ton of fun making it, and it shows. I like how it pokes fun at the trope of people who live online and play those sorts of games. And wanna know what makes me like it even more? The crybaby trump supporters posting 1 star reviews, complaining about it being "woke" and anti gun. Maybe those people shouldn't watch movies like this, and instead go out and buy trump's new picture book. I heard it's "yuge" and "bigley". That'd probably be a little bit more up to their speed.

I love Ryan Reynolds in most of his stuff, he is still great but this is one of those movies that the trailer was way more awesome than the movie. Story line lags and it's not as funny as trailer. Decent movie but it's a rental not a buy.

Feel like I'm taking crazy pills. This movie was really cringey. Didn't follow it's own rules. Wasn't shot with any care. Just a real stinker of the fellow kids variety.
