Ryan Reynolds protagoniza esta comedia de acción en un papel de afable cajero de banco llamado Guy, que se entera de que en realidad es un personaje de relleno en un videojuego de mundo abierto. Todos los días Guy recibe ataques de jugadores y objetos que hay dentro del juego, donde lo atracan, lo atropellan y lo maltratan como personaje no jugador (NPC) que es. Por si eso fuera poco, el dueño del juego ha decidido poner fin al juego. Aliándose con una mujer (Jodie Comer) que, además de humana, es un personaje en el juego, Guy decide convertirse en el protagonista de su propia historia. Ahora, en un mundo donde no hay límites, está decidido a ser el tío que salva el mundo a su manera antes de que sea tarde. En la apasionante y divertidísima FREE GUY, dirigida por Shawn Levy y con guion de Matt Lieberman y Zak Penn basado en un argumento de Lieberman, también intervienen Taika Waititi, Lil Rel Howery y Joe Keery.

Calificaciones y opiniones

Very fun movie. You can tell they had a ton of fun making it, and it shows. I like how it pokes fun at the trope of people who live online and play those sorts of games. And wanna know what makes me like it even more? The crybaby trump supporters posting 1 star reviews, complaining about it being "woke" and anti gun. Maybe those people shouldn't watch movies like this, and instead go out and buy trump's new picture book. I heard it's "yuge" and "bigley". That'd probably be a little bit more up to their speed.

I love Ryan Reynolds in most of his stuff, he is still great but this is one of those movies that the trailer was way more awesome than the movie. Story line lags and it's not as funny as trailer. Decent movie but it's a rental not a buy.

Feel like I'm taking crazy pills. This movie was really cringey. Didn't follow it's own rules. Wasn't shot with any care. Just a real stinker of the fellow kids variety.
