In search of a better life for her family and desperate to provide for her young girls, Christina (Anna Paquin) gets pulled into the dangerous high-stakes underground drug scene of the 1970s. As she quickly finds out, dealing drugs at the height of South Florida's smuggling heyday, has its price. Awesome movie but I'm a lil biased. I had the pleasure of going to high school with the director, Shana. Its based on her life growing up and she did a great job. Bigger things are coming for her I'm sure.

Love this. It is an amazing life event.
