New York has a new problem in Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan - Deluxe Edition. After an electrifying return from the bottom of his Crystal Lake grave, indestructible psycho-slasher Jason Voorhees ships out to visit the Big Apple and paints the town red! High school senior Rennie Wickham is in for the ride of her life -- and possibly her death -- when she and her classmates take a graduation cruise bound for New York City. Little do they know that crazed serial killer Jason is a stowaway who quickly transforms the teen-filled "love boat" celebration into the ultimate voyage of the damned! Only a few survivors reach New York, where the bloody rampage spills into the gritty streets and subways of Manhattan in a deadly game of hide-and-seek -- leading to a toxic confrontation with Jason for one last, final time.

If you think this movie is about Jason being in NY killing teens all around, think again. This movie is literal trash. Not only as a Jason movie but as a horror movie as well. The kills are lame as fuck and the acting sucks. Hey, that rhymes. Jason looks like shit, especially without his mask. He looks like a skeleton with puss. The acting was horrible and 95% of the movie takes place on a boat. (F)

I like the story but the acting sucked! And the kills were shit. He used none of the big weapons he could find like he did in the first 7. This movies loses two stars because of the acting and the kills. But gains 3 because the story actually was pretty good.

OK I love the series but this *JASON TAKES MANHATTEN* NOT JASON TAKES LIKE AN HOUR ON A BOAT AND SOME KILLS IN THIS PEPOLE WOULD SURVIVE IN REAL LIFE AND DIRECTORS MAKE UP YOUR MIND DOES NEW YORK REALLY ACROSS CAMP CRYSTAL LAKE OR DID YOU JUST WANT JASON TO KILL THEM FOR NO REASON ALSO NEW YORK IS 12 MILES FROM NEW JEARSY SO MAKE YOUR MIND DIRECTORS I RATHER WATCH A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET SERIES
