關於這部電影

Meet Jerry Dandridge. He's sweet, sexy, and he likes to sleep in late. You might think he's the perfect neighbor. But before inviting Jerry in for a nightcap, there's just one thing you should know. Jerry prefers his drinks warm, red and straight from the jugular! It's FRIGHT NIGHT, a horrific howlstarring Chris Sarandon as the seductive vampire and William Ragsdale as the frantic teenager struggling to keep Jerry's deadly fangs out of his neck. Only 17-year-old Charley Brewster (Ragsdale) knows Jerry's bloodcurdling secret. When Charley can't get anybody to believe him, he turns to TV horror host Peter Vincent (Roddy McDowall), who used to be the "Great Vampire Killer" of the movies. Can these mortals save Charley and his sweetheart Amy (Amanda Bearse) from the wrathful bloodsucker's toothy embrace? If you love being scared, FRIGHT NIGHT...will give you the nightmare of your life MPAA Rating: R © 1985 Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc. All Rights Reserved.

fright night it the perfect 80's movie and chris sarandon's jerry dandridge is the best "sexy vampire" in any film . matter of fact all the acting is impeccable. Frrrright night has the perfect mix of funny and spooky and even has moments of genuine suspense for the wellbeing of Charlie , evil ed and Amy. you are taken along the ride of Charlie Brewster discovering his smooth neighbor is a vampire via seeing him bite people on the neck thru his window, you feel his shock when he discovers and his frustration with the adults and police in the town who all think he is making it up because of his love of old school vampire films. and his fear when he is attacked by jerry. this film is a fun love letter to the horror days of old while also staying current to its time. five stars

I think it still outshines the sequel, the remake and the remake sequel. But none could recapture the magic of the first. It has some very human touches that put it above the others. Evil Ed's last scene is particularly affecting for me.

plenty of scares and laughs with the effects holding up extremely well for a film almost 30 years old ( no CGI crap!)
