Información de esta película

Meet the sexy new neighbor, Jerry Dandrige (Colin Farrell). He's dangerously charming and utterly lethal. That's because he just happens to be a vampire, and out for blood - buckets of it. After high school senior Charley Brewster (Anton Yelchin) makes the connection between Jerry's suspicious activity and a steadily rising body count, he vows to end the reign of terror next door. But he can't do it alone. His only hope is Las Vegas magician/vampire-slayer Peter Vincent (David Tennant). Together, this unlikely duo set out to end Jerry's evil rampage. But Jerry is a ruthless, relentless killer, and he's not going down without a fight. Get set to sink your teeth into this thrilling re-vamp of the terrifying horror classic. Fright Night will captivate you from the very first bite!

All I have to say is this. They took a movie that was both scary and funny from my early teen days and turned it into a sparkley Twilight styled movie... Can I get What is a dumb idea for 200 Alex? Sure they kept some of the horror and blood and sex from the original but seriously, vampires have an adversion to light, so why would they were glitter which needs light to function. The vampire genre is dying and the final stake in its heart is when Count Chochula starts wearing body glitter and shopping at the Gap for Emos...

I actually remember the original, so was pleased to the actor from the first get killed. But, I watched this for Tennet. Dr, Who, of course! I will admit Collin Farrell wasn't bad. I would recommend this movie, it's worth the three bucks! So there was no deep story line, you were wanting one? It's good entertainment!

The original had humor and great homages to the genres it was representing. This version tries too hard to be gritty and dark, which would've been great if the actors had pulled it off. But IMO they didn't. Really the best parts of the movie were David Tennant and a cameo I won't spoil here.
