Acerca deste filme

Meet the sexy new neighbor, Jerry Dandrige (Colin Farrell). He's dangerously charming and utterly lethal. That's because he just happens to be a vampire, and out for blood - buckets of it. After high school senior Charley Brewster (Anton Yelchin) makes the connection between Jerry's suspicious activity and a steadily rising body count, he vows to end the reign of terror next door. But he can't do it alone. His only hope is Las Vegas magician/vampire-slayer Peter Vincent (David Tennant). Together, this unlikely duo set out to end Jerry's evil rampage. But Jerry is a ruthless, relentless killer, and he's not going down without a fight. Get set to sink your teeth into this thrilling re-vamp of the terrifying horror classic. Fright Night will captivate you from the very first bite!

BLOOD MOUTH

An absolutely fun take on a favourite 80s classic. Christopher Mintz-Plasse does a scene stealing turn as Evil Ed, full of perfect dialogue. And I can't stress enough how eerily perfect Colin Farrell is in this film. I've been a lifelong fan of horror and vampire stories, and his is the best portrayal of a vampire I've seen. His body language and intense eyes, his shifty attempts at trying to talk like a normal person... every move conveys that this is not a living human being. Masterful.

But wait, this is the single best remake of a cult classic ever! Best choice in cast that could have been made, managed to keep with the entire look and feel of the original, without sacrificing anything for the newer generation. This just got added to my all time favorite movies list!

OK remake, but seems like they were going for shock value over substance. Being a Doctor Who fan though, I did enjoy seeing David Tennant in the film.
