Jonathan Rhys Meyers plays James Reece, a low-level operative for the CIA in Paris, eager to see some real action. When he's offered his first senior-level assignment, he can't believe his good fortune -- until he meets his new partner, special agent Charlie Wax (John Travolta). A trigger-happy, wisecracking loose cannon who's been sent to Paris to stop a terrorist attack, Wax leads James on a white-knuckle shooting spree through the Parisian underworld that soon has James praying for his desk job. But when James discovers that he's also a target, he realizes there's no turning back -- and that Wax himself might be his only hope for staying alive. Pierre Morel, the director of Taken, keeps the film in high gear based on a story by French action-master Luc Besson (La Femme Nikita, Taxi, The Transporter). Another film that shouldn't of worked but actually did. I really enjoyed every minute of this film. Give it a go its good.
