Über diesen Film

Critics have called it "OPEN WATER on a ski lift" and "JAWS in the snow." It remains perhaps the most intense and terrifying film of 2010: As Sunday evening falls, three snowboarding friends decide to take one last run down the slope. Halfway up the mountain, their chair lift stops, the lights go out, and the resort closes for the week. They are stranded, but the worst is still to come. A storm is approaching. Frostbite is setting in. And on the ground below them, a pack of hungry wolves have gathered to wait. Kevin Zegers (DAWN OF THE DEAD, WRONG TURN), Shawn Ashmore (X-MEN, THE RUINS), and Emma Bell star in the relentlessly chilling thriller from writer/director Adam Green (HATCHET) that Harry Knowles of Ain't It Cool News hails as "a vicious, scary and horrifying experience...FROZEN is a howling good time!"

Nina lordi , WTF get a latte or something it's a movie, and I don't know if you've ever been close to wolves, but sweetie they ain't afraid of anything short of a grizzly bear, they are smart however and do weigh their chances at success, a bunch of humans with guns yes they'd stay clear, 3 people no weapons and you're lunch.

Drama is over the top, why didn't the skier throw his legs over the cable ? it is much safer useing hands and legs it provides less cable impact on the hands due to the weight of the body.. wolves do not run in packs near highways or towns that are frequent to skieing outdoor recreation.. What makes the writer believe that a wolf would stay around for a secound kill when the first kill satisfied their hunger..

I enjoy snow boarding myself but this movie is just absurd. For starters, ski resorts ALWAYS double check to make sure no one gets left behind on the chairs. TWO, normally right before closing they have staff members run the course (again to make sure no one is hurt or gets left behind), THREE, no one in their mind would stick bare skin against freezing metal, FOUR, wolves don't roam where this movie supposedly takes place (even if they did, the resort would have fences and the like up so wolves can't attack guests since that'd result in huge lawsuits). Overall the film is made by people who never went skiing or snowboarding a day in their life (or if they did, they did it ONCE as a kid).
