À propos de ce film

For four years, the courageous crew of the NSEA protector - "Commander Peter Quincy Taggart" (Tim Allen), "Lt. Tawny Madison" (Sigourney Weaver) and "Dr.Lazarus" (Alan Rickman) - set off on a thrilling and often dangerous mission in space...and then their series was cancelled! Now, twenty years later, aliens under attack have mistaken the Galaxy Quest television transmissions for "historical documents" and beam up the crew of has-been actors to save the universe. With no script, no director and no clue, the actors must turn in the performances of their lives.

mistaking a group of out of work actors from a television mini series beamed to the nation many years before are real an alien race build their ship and technology from what they have seen on the broadcasts. And attempt to enlist the help of 'THE CREW' and we journey into that adventure in this super stylish funny superb entertainment for all the family from a witty well presented script to traits we know we all love to know we have one serious contender for family movie of the week in this excellent Hollywood movie presentation.

Massively funny from start to finish. It's a joy to watch Tim Allen channeling Captain Kirk's charisma while Alan Rickman (R.I.P.) steals every scene he's in and the rest of the cast are excellent with everyone having a shining moment. Superb special effects that still stand up today and a touching, heartfelt story that's perfectly handled from filmmakers who clearly love all things Star Trek and sci-fi movies.

One of my favourite films, managing to look a the lighter side of sci-fi fans obsessions with the genre, while also taking the micky out Star Trek and other sci-fi space adventure films and being a great sci-fi film at the same time.
