A young boy in a peaceful seaside town gets more than he bargained for when he takes home a mysterious egg. When it hatches, out comes a baby turtle that grows into a new version of Gamera.

Ratings and reviews

Other than Gamer vs. Gyaos, this is the best Gamera movie. The characters are likable and well written, and Gamera embodies what a kaiju protagonist stands for. On top of that, the new villain Zeedus is absolutely terrifying. This is a good place to start for people wanting to get into the Gamera series.

It's a great film for all ages I say it's better than the showa gamera films but it's not better than the other 3 gamera films, but still a great film with good characters and great effects
