All that I anticipated. Ryan Gosling was his usual debonair stylish smooth hero. Sean Penn was an excellent bad ares gangster. Josh Brolin played his role convincingly. Great period costume design. A well worth the time watching this film. Enjoyed it and recommend it to others.

Easily one of the films around, I highly recommend watching this .

Sean Penn one of the best & one of my all time favourite actors
