Described as a poet, an athlete, or a philosopher of photography, Garry Winogrand harnessed the serendipity of the streets to capture the American 1960s and 70s.

Would recommend for enthusiastic and aspiring photographers, gives an interesting insight into the photographer and a good addition to my collection. Garry certainly deserves a documentary about him, when perhaps other photographers from his generation had more attention and publications in recent years. However, not sure if others will enjoy outside of the camera world; it would be a difficult sell to somebody else who isn't engaged in the photography world to know or care who he was and why he was important.
