Gascoigne returned home to a hero’s welcome and became a
superstar of international football. With his irrepressible spirit
and extraordinary skills he was for a generation of players and
fans the most captivating footballer they had ever seen.
Gascoigne is the defi nitive story - in his own words - behind
the inspired play on the pitch and the personal struggles and
controversies off it. With revealing contributions from Gary
Lineker, Jose Mourinho and Wayne Rooney, it tells one of
sport’s most remarkable tales. 2015 GASCOIGNE THE MOVIE LIMITED.

My first world cup was italia 90. I watched it with my dad, I was 10 years old. I remember watching gazza and thinking I want to be as good as him. I was never much good at football lol but I idolised him. He was my childhood hero, as I'm sure he was for a lot of kids. I never really thought about it until now, but when Gazza started to stop playing football, I stopped watching it. I never really was a massive fan of football, But there was something magic about the way Gazza played. The documentary is brilliant!! Gazza your a ledgend and one hell of a football player...
