Hawke stars as Vincent, an "In-Valid" who assumes the identity of a member of the genetic elite to pursue his goal of traveling into space with the Gattaca Aerospace Corporation. However, a week before his mission, a murder marks Vincent as a suspect. With a relentless investigator in pursuit and the colleague he has fallen in love with beginning to suspect his deception, Vincent's dreams steadily unravel. Ratings and reviews

Skillfully weaves two stories together, a murder mystery, and the quest of someone with natural genetics to pursue a life where the opportunities are only open to those with genetic enhancements - exploring the issues without getting bogged down. Both intelligent and moving. Excellent.

From my point of view, we're going to be in this situation quite soon. But the way in which is presented is majestic. One of my all time favourites.

My favourite movie of all time. Great score, great performances, 20 years on and has not aged one bit!
