THE GENIUS OF MARIAN is a visually rich, emotionally complex story that follows Pam White in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease as her son, the filmmaker, documents her struggles to retain her sense of self.

Did not even barely show the misery the caretaker/family go through. It's a 24/7 burden to those who can't afford a nurse. Also, this movie follows a happy family. This was too much of a privileged family skipping thru the daisies. Even though it's a documentary it's very unrealistic for most families dealing with alzheimer's and dementia.
