Love, love, love this!! Lynn Redgrave is a plain, plump girl who falls for her pretty/bitchy roomie's (Charlotte Rampling) guy (Alan Bates at his sexiest) & he, surprisingly, for her. Ahhh, but James Mason's somewhat lecherous character likes Georgy, too. Redgrave gave a lovely, funny performance, gave hope to less than model-type girls everywhere! A glimpse of mod London, in its hey-dey, as well.

This is a fabulous film. A very old classic from 1966. I love everything about it. I can watch it over and over and over. I plan to download it to my library.
