When millionaire hedge fund manager James King (Ferrell) is nailed for fraud and bound for a stretch in San Quentin, the judge gives him 30 days to get his affairs in order. Desperate, he turns to Darnell Lewis (Hart) to prep him for a life behind bars. But despite James’ one-percenter assumptions, Darnell is a hard-working small business owner who has never received a parking ticket, let alone been to prison. Together, the two men do whatever it takes for James to ‘get hard’ and, in the process, discover how wrong they were about a lot of things – including each other.

I'm a huge Will Ferrell fan, and a fan of Kevin Hart as well. I wanted my dog to be named Ricky Bobby. The funniness of the jokes faded quickly. The last half hour was nearly unwatchable. The worst part of all was the extremely blatant social commentary telling me how bad our income inequality problem is. I love to watch Will Ferrell movies and just veg out and laugh. Too bad the writer had a political point to make.

I had a lot of laughs throughout the movie and would almost give it 5 stars if not for the 2nd half of the movie. This may sound weird, but i feel as though there is too much of a good thing going on. Please don"t get wrong though, the movie was great! I just feel as though the two super-comedy-stars being put together set the stage for a epic expectations, of which i feel were not met.

After watching the wedding ringer I hoped this would be a even funnier movie but just the opposite it actually was a complete failure this movie could of had potential to be made funnier but really sucked. I didn't like it at all. Will Farrell is not that funny anymore it seems like his jokes and comical movies just getting dumb and dumber!!! Kevin Hart this was a huge let down for me because all your movies are usually great!!!
