In his follow-up to the four-time Academy Award-nominated blockbuster The Help, Tate Taylor directs 42's Chadwick Boseman as James Brown in Get On Up. I liked it. Very clear about James Brown's background, the other interesting aspects of his life, the fact that unlike many artists that got swindled out of a fortune, he managed to keep his royalties from most of his songs. Impressive.
