Informazioni su questo film

When Chris (Daniel Kaluuya), a young African-American man, visits his white girlfriend's (Allison Williams) family estate, he becomes ensnared in the more sinister, real reason for the invitation. At first, Chris reads the family's overly accommodating behavior as nervous attempts to deal with their daughter's interracial relationship, but as the weekend progresses, a series of increasingly disturbing discoveries lead him to a truth that he could have never imagined. This speculative thriller from Blumhouse (producers of The Visit, Insidious series and The Gift) and the mind of Jordan Peele (Key & Peele) is equal parts gripping thriller and provocative commentary.

OK movie but way too predictable. If you were shocked by the "big reveal" of this movie then please don't base your review solely on that alone...true fiction lovers will be disappointed if they trust that review. If you're a true thriller/horror fan you'll see it coming....foreshadowing is a wonderful element of fiction but in my opinion it was underminded and mocked in this film and therefore it lost any credibility in my book. If you're looking for a good horror/thriller movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat DO NOT RENT THIS MOVIE! Rent or buy The Devil's Candy...best horror/thriller I've seen in a while!! Trust me

I pride myself at seeing the plot play out early in a film like this and yet it slipped right by me that the daughter/girlfriend was the bait. I saw the roles of the psych, the surgeon, the muscle but I absolutely missed the flirty fishing, to coin the term used by the infamous Children of God cult, played superbly by the actress playing the sister. And who eats droit loops and drinks milk like that, right?

I know its a horror/comedy, tho racism in any way isn't really funny. Unrealistic but expected with horror, I've seen the actor before but believe comedy serves a better suit for him. Could've been worse tho, if you can surpass the endless racism then its a gd movie otherwise I don't suggest to anyone under 18
