Marcus (50 Cent) has always known he was going to be a rapper. But when his mother is murdered, young Marcus turns to dealing drugs for New York crime boss Majestic to pay the bills. As dealing turns to gang banging, however, Marcus finds his life spinning out of control, eventually landing in prison. While there, he decides to quit hustling and dedicate himself to his music...but by turning his back on Majestic, he may have signed his own death warrant. Everything is the story of 50 Cent's life, when he was young trying to get somewhere making money, no father in his life, spent half his life sold drugs to support himself. But when his life was about to end when he got shot 9 times on the street at night, only good thing is he survived from the hounds. Especially want to turn his life around to tell his story into music to put out to the streets, clubs, and citywide all over.

Weak and formulaic. His performance is better than expected, but that doesn't make it a good movie.

This is a Great Movie, the meaning shows how one no matter where you come from, who you are, or what you do persistance faith and to believe in yourself to not give up hard work pays off...!!! that's all that needs to be said..! Although I only have one question, How did he get the name 50 Cent it never tells in movie???
