Ricky Gervais is naturally funny. Teamed up with Greg Kinnear as a cheating husband who dies but has unfinished business, haunts Gervais until he agrees to help. Enter Tea Leoni as Kinnear's widow. Craziness ensues.

It's great to see a story without cynicism. Perhaps it's a romantic comedy, but it also speaks to the core value that all of us have, or need to find, and that makes it more than a rom-com. And then, also, this easily could have been maudlin, trite, over-wrought or pseudo-mystical, but instead the screenplay steered a nuanced course avoiding all those "reefs". So it ends up as a story with heart, and just as the movie's characters changed for the better, maybe you will, too, by watching it.

I haven't watched this in a while, but I really enjoyed this flic. If you enjoyed watching Ghost Dad, then this would be for you.
