while the pacing was a little slow compared to the original series it still stayed pretty close to the old style and feel of what made the old shows so great. the major did seam a bit more detached from the team, just about everyone else was written about the same. either way it's still a good movie if you liked the series already but I have to recommended anyone new watch SAC and 2nd Gig to really get into the stories.

Stunning Visuals, great special effects, and some food fight scenes throughout the film. However fans of the original anime film and its various spinoffs will notice the lack of everything that made Ghost in the Shell great. As others have said, this is all Shell, with no Ghost.

A fun new look at the GITS UNIVERSE. The ARISE REBOOT has it's ups and downs. It helps the movie if you've watched ARISE as they complement each other as events in the movie tie back to the OVA ' S / series
