New York City has a problem: paranormal occurrences have been plaguing the city in increasing numbers, and the only people who know this are three extraordinarily bright, slightly offbeat NYU parapsychologists who have lost their research grant. Forced out of academia, they start their own business. In this 1985 Oscar® nominee for Best Special Effects, Drs. My condolences to those of you who weren't alive to experience the awesomeness that was the 80s: THIS IS ONE OF THE GREATEST MOVIES EVER MADE IN THE HISTORY OF EVER. It's SO brilliant, that to this day, it's still being shown on the big screen in selected theaters around Hallowe'en, so if you see it coming, GO SEE IT. With a cracking script penned by Ray Stantz and Egon Spengler, it's captivating from the get go, and Venkmen SHINES throughout but especially in meeting with the mayor and when he works the crowd: If you're not chanting, screaming and applauding with the rest, i don't want to know you. I got it at £3.99 HD, so hold out and keep checking Play Store (don't be the person who buys at the wrong time then complains about pricing). You just get the movie but I like it that way since extras just detract from the movie magic, love. CLASSIC and ETERNAL. P.S. ALSO GET THE FANTASTIC SOUNDTRACK!! :D AND ALL THE MERCH! XD

when a nuclear scientist intends to test his theories and his propulsion system and grid matrix trap system which his friend has purchased they enlist the help of paranormal investigator and historian PETER VENKMAN and take to investigate the world of the strange and paranormal discovering that the world is soon to end and a demon ZULL will come and wreak havoc and revenge in this probably to some the biggest movie of a decade awesome fun witty believable. 5 out of 5
