Ghostbusters makes its long-awaited return with Director Paul Feig's unique and hilarious take on the classic, supernatural comedy, led by the freshest minds in comedy today, Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, and Chris Hemsworth. Together they team-up to save Manhattan from a sudden invasion of spirits, spooks and slime that engulfs the city. Robert Abele of TheWrap says, "This new A-team of ghostbusters are fresh and funny."

If you didn't appreciate the regular edition then there probably isn't anything for you here. If you actually liked the regular edition though there's just more here to enjoy. It was unfairly dumped on I say, but it isn't amazing for me. Perhaps it may make an impression on a kid of today like the original did for me as a child, and if it does I think that's a good thing. Didn't affect my love for Ghostbusters in any way. That's just me though.

It's a complete tragedy. The movie is a farce in every way. A long tirade of shallow, cheap one liners and completely dumps on the legacy of the original movies. I lost respect for the original actors appearing in an attempt to give this rag any credibility. It should be illegal to make movies this bad.

A fun satire not only of the original Ghostbusters movie (which I still enjoy, though it has aged a bit), but of much of general movie making. Really nice visuals for the ghosts and other special effects. Not an outstanding movie, but nice to watch.
