Información de esta película

Ghostbusters makes its long-awaited return with Director Paul Feig's unique and hilarious take on the classic, supernatural comedy, led by the freshest minds in comedy today, Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, and Chris Hemsworth. Together they team-up to save Manhattan from a sudden invasion of spirits, spooks and slime that engulfs the city. Robert Abele of TheWrap says, "This new A-team of ghostbusters are fresh and funny."

Nothing about this remake worked , not a single one of the characters or the humour. The ghosts and the effects were OK but there was just no comedic value. That weird blonde lady did nothing but gurn her way through the whole movie and even Chris Hemsworth character didn't work somehow. That's the one bit that definitely could have been funny having the useless hunky male receptionist working for 4 women but the gags all felt flat and forced. Just wasn't at all funny.

A few amusing moments, but doesn't hold a candle to the originals. Disappointing that the humour basically boils down to slime getting in cracks, Leslie Jones' playing a stereotypical black character (Ernie Hudson's Winston was the best character because he was the only normal one), and fat jokes. Nobody was calling for a Ghostbusters reboot. I'd say only young kids would like it, but some scenes probably aren't suitable.

It's a bit more slapstick humor than the first two and lacks any genuinely frightening moments. I also wish they hadn't gone with such a feminist angle. The idea of a female cast is fine but the way it shoves it's agenda down your throat spoils the movie. It's still pretty fun though. It does capture some of the quirky charm and I wouldn't mind seeing the cast again. Just please get a different director and script. Hell, let Murray and Ackroyd write it.
