From director Jason Reitman and Ivan Reitman comes the next chapter in the original Ghostbusters universe. In Ghostbusters: Afterlife, when a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original Ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather, an original Ghostbuster, left behind. The film is written by Gil Kenan and Jason Reitman.

So much better than 2016 film!! This really is the Ghostbusters sequel movie I've been waiting. Yes, lots of fan service, but the story was really good. I like that it directly connected to the first movie. I loved that they used a lot of the same musical cues. It really made it part of the universe. I'm only sad that Ivan Rittman & Harold Ramis didn't get to see this. I think they would've been proud.

This is what the fans have been waiting over 35 years for: Ghostbusters III. While it's not a PERFECT movie, it certainly has heart and hits you like a ton of bricks in the feels department. Spectacular visuals and a nice conclusion for the original franchise, while keeping the door open for future adventures with a new set of faces. This is THE movie for any 80s kids who grew up on the original material, or any newcomers who are looking for an 80s-esque, 'Spielberg-style' adventure!

Not sure why everyone her is giving this 5 stars. Nothing happens in the movie for 60 minutes and then it is a very basic rehash of the original storyline. Nostalgia aside this is a poor reflection on the original movies. Watcahble but that's about it.
