"....if there's a steady paycheck in it; I'll believe anything you say." Gotta be one of the all time classic lines in movie history. As far as Ghostbusters Afterlife is concerned; it's a good movie. I liked it but it's far from oscar winning perfection. A great kids sci-fi fantasy adventure. Plot doesn't doesn't really intrigue since like most other legacy film franchises; they just pick up where they left off; with no new creative direction. Tron (Clu vs. Flynn) Bladerunner (Tyrell Corporation - more human than human) Terminator (Skynet/John Connor) Matrix (Neo vs. The Machines) Star Wars (Skywaker vs. The Empire) The more things change; the more they stay the same. On a budget of $75 million; you have to believe most of it was to pay for Murray; Akroyd and Sigourney Weaver (Mrs. Avatar) to appear; not to mention a boat load of A+ visual and CGI technical work.

If you're a true Ghostbusters fan then you should absolutely love this movie. Mr. Jason Reitman I'm sure did his late father proud and such a meaningful "passing of the torch" movie in so many more ways now. Thank you so very much Ivan, Jason and everyone else involved. Loved it💙 I'm pretty amped to like anything Ghostbusters though tbh. And my copy shows up on all the movie apps, MA, Vudu, YouTube is probably where your Google purchased copy shows up.

Movie is OK....just OK, the kids loved it but had no idea who the Ghostbusters were in my days. References were on a minimal level compared to the spinoff with the ladies back in 2016. Performances were ok but felt too fake when it came to dialogues and how fast the kids got the know-how understanding of operating these ghost streams and traps. Story could've been built better in a way. This felt more like a tribute to me and I get that fact, makes me miss him....Won't write too much, just watch
