Really good movie, Jolie really owned the role. It gives a good look into the Gia's life. its hard to tell how much of it was fact and how much of it was made up for the sake the movie. I had to do my research and look at old youtube videos of her mother interviews to fill in the blanks or doubts. It did a poor job of showing the entire NY Modeling and fashion circuit.

This was instantly my favorite movie of all time, And Angelina Jolie my favorite actress, the 1st time I watched it in about '99 or' 00 (on vhs, lol) Angelina is BEAUTIFUL! (but everyone knows that, lol) But in this movie, she is Absolutely Amazing! She flawlessly demonstrates the realities of heroin addiction! This an incredibly sad, yet though provoking true story! (oh and I would be remiss if I didn't mention the ooohh sooo HOTT love scenes between Angelina and Elizabeth Mitchell mm mm mmm...Yummy😉😊

Heartbreaking Reality of Addiction!! Beautiful Angelina is mesmerizing as she depicts the life of a former supermodel and the fast-lane lifestyle that comes with that type of career. She then breaks your heart as you watch the tragedy that heroin addiction brings to her character as you watch her choose the life of drugs and slowly, yet painfully kill herself....catches the harsh reality of drug addiction in true form.
