Sandra Dee stars as everyone's favorite teenager, Gidget. While hitting the beach during summer vacation she falls for two surfers (played by Cliff Robertson and James Darren) at the same time. Though they make fun of her at first, they teach her to surf. Soon she's accepted and given the nickname "Gidget." I was only 4 when this movie came out but growing up in the 60s I remember watching it, and it's one of my favorite love stories, even though I'm black I had a crush on Moondoggy, he was so handsome.

I adore this movie. Moondoggie can sing to me anytime ! Ever notice how much James Darren looks like Zach Ephron?

I love this movie, my favorite movie growing up. The quality wasn't the best but I love this movie so much I didn't mind.
