In a countryside across the mountains Pino, an 11 year old boy, lives confined in his aristocratic family house because of a mysterious illness. Pino can never get out, he can't run and he can't play with his peers. He can just look at them from his bedroom window and fantasize about being with them, especially with the Boys of the Old Square, a group of kids that play near his house.
