About this movie

A group of real estate salesmen in Chicago vie for the best "leads" at a small firm selling property in "resort" areas, such as Florida and Arizona. When a hotshot executive from the head office arrives and proposes a vicious sales contest, competition gets stiff, and salesmen who have worked a lifetime for the company find their jobs in jeopardy.

One of my top 25 movies of all time. Don't miss this gem in filmmaking history. Grab the 4 dollars out of the couch, enjoy, thank me later. Great movie. NYU film school had this movie as part of our first year intro to film. Made me believe in dropping out of film school, affirming my new quest of becoming a TOP PERFORMING sales executive and making my own leads turn into self funding opportunities for enjoying movies just like this, minus the searching in the dirty old couch for 4 bucks in loose change.

Drama...Al owns the movie! He is fabulous...the supporting cast all the way down to Alan Arkins character was magnificent. The Old Stuff!

Adapted from a theater play and very strategically cast, this movie has a slew of iconic moments and unique humor. Sit back with some wine and let loose with this one!
