Fresh off a three-year prison term (she took a fall for her mobster boyfriend), Gloria (Sharon Stone) immediately violates parole and returns to New York City and a bleak future. Desperate and angry, she lashes out, putting to good use the tough education she earned growing up in Hell's Kitchen. In the process, she accidentally becomes guardian of a stubborn 6-year-old boy, Nicky (Jean-Luke Figueroa), whose family has been wiped out by her criminal consorts. He possesses devastating information that could destroy an underworld empire, and as Gloria's life spins out of control, she realizes that both she and the boy are marked for murder by the mob. Two slides of my finger and I found the original. This one can't even come come close to the real Gloria. That little boy stole the show. "Gloria, I love you to death." He was SO cute!

As much as I love Sharon Stone this was her worst performance .Nothing like the original starring Gena Rowland's who made her character more believable ...very slow moving and boring

Gloria & little boy very well acted in this. Also movie is very heart warming. Its a movie you can watch over..over..over again.
