I forgot that I was watching a documentary the entire time. The director did a great job of making this story less like a documentary and more like a movie. The film was very engaging and showed us a true insight of what life was like during that period. The writer also tried to balance out the character of of Michael Alig. By the end of the film, I couldn't tell if he was a good guy caught in a bad situation or not. It is the kind of documentary that will live you with more questions. A real conversation piece. I highly recommend this film. I want all my friends to see it.
