Acerca de esta película

When an atheist Philosophy professor (Kevin Sorbo; Soul Surfer, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys) plans to forego 'dusty arguments' in his class, he insists the new students declare that 'God is dead'. Unable to do this, Josh (Shane Harper; High School Musical 2, TV’s Good Luck Charlie) is challenged to defend his faith and prove to the class that 'God’s Not Dead'. Against all odds, Josh stands up for his faith and takes on the challenge. Let the debate begin. With enthralling performances from the star-studded cast, including David A.R. White (Six: The Mark Unleashed), Dean Cain (Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman), and with special appearances by Newsboys, and Willie and Korie Robertson (Duck Dynasty), God’s Not Dead, is an intensely thought provoking, faith inspiring and uplifting film.

Did the guy who made this even know what an atheist was, clearly not. Atheists don't believe in God. Why are you Christians unable to understand that. My friend and I watched this and he is a philosophy professor. His opinion is that it was the biggest bunch of bull ever. He said there is no way a student who started Philosophy would beat a Philosophy professor in a debate. And No professor would be allowed make his students write out there is no God or fail them if they don't. It shows how bad Christian movies. Think this movie actually has sequels which are even worse. Avoid it.

This film just didn't show God's true love, it spoke briefly of the Holy Spirit guiding you, but yet lacked revealing Him as the life giving Holy Spirit in you (that is when you've accepted Jesus Christ & asked Holy Spirit to live in you, that same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead, living powerfully in you). In this film all their faith just seemed a belief for religious arguments than a deep reality of His powerful love, joy & peace we can live in. The film felt flat. Oh well hopefully it still stirs some.

Point one, no professor in any institution of learning would be allowed to force a student to reject their religious beliefs. The entire conflict could have been solved by going to the Dean. Point two the movie pushes the narrative that atheists aren't people who don't believe in god, they just hate god because of some personal trauma. Point three, if we had a role reversal with a villainous Christian vs a righteous atheist, we'd have many of the fans of this film cry religious persecution.
