Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Alan Arkin team up as lifelong buddies Willie, Joe and Al, who decide to buck retirement and step off the straight-and-narrow for the first time in their lives when their pension fund becomes a corporate casualty. Desperate to pay the bills and come through for their loved ones, the three risk it all by embarking on a daring bid to knock off the very bank that absconded with their money.

Just plain good entertainment. Some idiots who think that they are brilliant gave bad reviews. These people are who make living in society today a real pain because they don't know how to just sit back and enjoy something that makes you feel good for watching it. These are such a drain on society because all they think about is how smart they think that they are and not noticing that everyone around them are truly happy and laughing. To these few, just stay home and be miserable by themselves and stop spreading their miserable life around to others.

The premise is funny. The actors are great. The source material and script are trite and repetitive with only one short-lived, charming twist in the end. The characters aren't easy to care for. For a movie about grandpas it's not family friendly with a bevy of swearing including the F-word and some adult situations.

OMG... ONce again with these three as the main characters and their reputations as comedic geniuses. I couldn't stop laughing. Im very glad i didn't go see this in the theater, because i know they would have thrown me out....
