GOLD is the story of Kenny Wells (Matthew McConaughey), a modern-day prospector, hustler, and dreamer, desperate for a lucky break. Left with few options, Wells teams up with an equally luckless geologist (Edgar Ramirez) to execute a grandiose, last-ditch effort: to find gold deep in the uncharted jungle of Indonesia.

Well done. Entertaining and enlightening. The depth of the 2 main characters and their relationship - is profound. The true meaning of speculation and hope - is clear and precise. Will have to google the facts to see just how true this stuff is. But, good to be informed that the 1%ers are still taking advantage of us and the world.

Great film. Compelling story and good acting. As is almost always the case Rotten Tomatoes hasn't a clue what they are talking about.

Bons acteurs, histoire intéressante. McConaughey époustouflant dans ce film.
