Gold is the story of Kenny Wells (McConaughey), a modern-day prospector, hustler, and dreamer, desperate for a lucky break. Left with few options, Wells teams up with an equally luckless geologist to execute a grandiose, last-ditch effort: to find gold deep in the uncharted jungle of Indonesia.

At first I was a little unsure about this film. But I have got to say that I really did enjoy it. The film its self I suppose explains what too much cash can do to you and what it turns you into, but also explains throughout about his deep search for true gold with some serious consequences involved. The film has some great acting going on and a very good story line and for that I give it a full 5* rating.

A cracking adult factual film. For those that love true life story telling. A great twist at the end, but clues should help you work it out along the way. Fantastic acting that will make you smile and think.

I laughed. While it is not a completely true story it is close enough. It was entertaining and had somw great acting.
